Activities before the New Year, December 2023
January 4, 2024
On December 5, Ms Worawan Mai Mai (P’ Thit Kai), P’ Thit Oi, and Kin Tham joined together to distribute alms to the villagers in front of the monastery on the occasion of National Father’s Day.
On December 17, Mr. Philip K.Abbott from USA. and Mr. Uy Sithurn from Cambodia came to meet Luang Mae and to visit the monastery.
On December 18, the bhikkhunis from the Dipayasathan Dhamma Bhikkhuni Monastery, in Songkhla Province, came to pay respects to Luang Mae.
On December 21, Mahidol University students in the Doctor of Philosophy program in Religion and Development, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, visited the temple with Luang Pi Dhammaparipunna and Luang Pi Dhammavanna.
On December 21, Khunying Thipphawadee Meksawan, President of the Association for Monitoring the Development of Women in Thailand (Thai Women’s Development Association), presented an award to Luang Mae that praised her as a creative woman.
On December 22, the bhikkhunis and the Bodhi Asawat Songtham went to do activities at Wat Phai Chorakhe School as part of the project “Bhikkhuni Sangha, Responsibility for the Quality Development of Thai Youth.” See website for more details.
On December 25, Mr. Zac led a group of 20 Vegans from the USA to visit the temple and meet the Reverend Mother and offer alms to the monks.
