February 16: Luang Mae went to participate in activities in the project “Bhikkhunis for the Development of the Quality of Thai Youth” at the Wat Phai Chorakhe School.
Mr Ted Mayer came to the monastery with more than 20 students from the INEB Institute School of English for Engaged Social Service (SENS). The students were from many different countries, including Indonesia, Burma, Japan, Tibet. They came to meet Luang Mae and ask her questions about Buddhism in the world today.
On 23 February a group of more than 20 Portuguese visitors came to meet Luang Mae and to visit the monastery. They asked a lot of interesting questions about meditation practice and Buddhism.
24-26 February the monastery held the 88th Buddhasavika Training Course. It took place over the Magha Puja long weekend. Luang Phi Dhammaparipunna taught meditation to trainees everyday and in the afternoon, Dr. Kanchana Suthikul conducted Dhamma training activities for the participants. We thank all of the participants for joining the course!
On Feb. 25, the Kalyanamitra group offered food to the monks and nuns. They came to meet with Luang Mae and to learn about Dhamma with Luang Pi Dhammaparipunna at the Medicine Buddha Vihara.
