On October 1, the opening ceremony of the Munikorn Room was held. The monks of the monastery showed their gratitude to Luang Mae. On the occasion of her upcoming birthday on October 6, Khun Chatthakun and the Kabil Singh family offered a portrait to Luang Mae. We express sincere gratitude.

On October 4, according to our environmental policy, we have waste separation management, including used A4 paper, newsprint, plastic bottles, glass bottles and milk cartons. Juice boxes are separated into categories: one is sold to earn income for religious observance and the other is for donation. Cleaned milk cartons are then donated to be made into chairs or roofs. Friends and family can always join in “making merit with garbage” at our observance. Just separate garbage into categories as mentioned above and then bring it to ask for blessings.

On October 6, Luang Pi Thammaphakdi led the nuns from Wat Plak Mai Lai to pay respects to Luang Mae at the observance on the occasion of her birthday.

On October 7, Mr. Adisorn Kaewbucha and his relatives invited the monks and nuns to chant Buddhist prayers dedicated to Khun Thip Kaewbucha, his late wife.

On October 17, during this time, we began preparations for the Kathina Ceremony. Luang Mae painted the pole with the name of the observance on the outside wall and painted the history of the observance in front of the library by herself and with her son Mr. Ek as an assistant.

The monks and novice monks helped set up the flag and prepare for the Kathin ceremony. Come and meet us on November 5th at 1:00 p.m.

On October 19, Mr. Zac led a group of 20 Vegans from the US to visit the temple and meet the Reverend Mother and offer alms to the monks.

On October 20, Mr. Warintorn Haema, Secretary of Religious Relations and Christendom Relations, Invited Luang Mae to give a lecture at Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU).

The temple officials are painting the east wall in preparation for the Kathina ceremony on 5 Nov.

On October 25, Professor Iboni Ghanaians came to visit. She would like to help scan Luang Mae’s writings to make an e-book to publish on the website and on YouTube. Thank you.

On October 25, Mr. Chester, a Hong Kong resident, and his group came to present a statue of Buddha Jabhaisajayguru. and to pay homage to him at the temple. Luang Mae gave the flag to Phra Paisatchayakuru. We sewed a new one for the group. Congratulations!

Reverend Somkiat Boonanantabutr, Secretary of Religious Relations and Christendom Relations, came to visit Luang Mae.

On October 26, Mr. Warintorn Haema, Secretary of Religious Relations and Christendom Relations, donated 10 Dhamma books for children to the temple.

October 29, Pavarana Buddhist Lent Day. The Bhikkhuni Sangha observed Dhamma teachings among the Bhikkhuni Sangha and advice among the monks at Wat Plak Mai Lai, Nakhon Pathom Province
