Teaching responsibility for the quality development of the Thai youth and giving scholarships this time is also a part of the Bhikkhuni Sangha project. Scholarships were awarded on September 30, 2023

In organizing this activity, there were 30 Bodhi volunteers who started talking with the children and playing games with them, such as Mon Hid Pha, who taught them to use their time beneficially. Waiting to eat lunch, which consisted of red pork noodles and cupcakes that the elders had brought to distribute to the children.

While the volunteers played games with the children, teachers and faculty from Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen campus guided a group of nuns through the various buildings of the school and a mushroom cultivation garden, where the Dhammakalyani ceremonies were held. Sponsor explained expenses with a group of professors from Kasetsart University who gave information about the care and construction of the mushroom facility. Details of the mushroom cultivation house: width 4 m., length 6 m., height 2.5 m. Number of Hungarian oyster mushrooms: 1,200 blocks, starting to bloom. Construction costs are approximately 11,588 baht, mushroom lump costs 8,400 baht. The objective is for students, teachers and the community to learn and practice agricultural career skills that are friendly to the environment, based on the new agricultural theory of sustainable economy.

The success goals of the project are longterm so you may not see immediate results but it is also the starting point for the monks of the Songthamkalyani Temple and the organizing team to create good things for our society.

The organizing team would like to congratulate everyone who joined in making merit. And thanks to many Bodhi volunteers who have sacrificed both physically and financially to make the work successful here.
